Simple yet very addictive, Slam is a clever format that mixes crosswords with trivia questions. For 30 exciting minutes, three contestants compete to fill in a crossword grid, but the opportunity goes to the one who can answer first a unique kind of question: whatever that question is, the answer is always just a single letter! But any contestant can SLAM at any moment: decide to block the 2 other contestants and try to finish the crossword on his own without any clue. In the final, the best contestant is given 5 letters (from choosing randomly among 8 figures) that then appear in a 7 crossword grill with a common theme. Great suspense during 1 minute!

Now in its 16th season, Slam is France 3’s #1 gameshow with almost 4,000 episodes already produced.

The show is a massive success in Slovenia where its 9th season currently airs on RTV Slo. It was also adapted on Turkey’s TRT Okul for 5 seasons.
