THE SPECTACULAR NATIONWIDE SEARCH FOR THE BEST HOMEMADE CAKE!

Hundreds of proud amateur pastry chefs are going to participate in the most spectacular baking contest ever organized. Their goal: win the “Nation’s Best Homemade Cake” title.

For weeks, a panel of colorful pastry experts (including Cyril Lignac, the “French Jamie Oliver”) will select the best homemade cakes through auditions organized in cities all across the country. Contestants of all ages come to reveal their “signature” cake to the panel. They can come accompanied by their family, friends, football teammates… The cake can be a family secret recipe, a local speciality, a creation, etc. It’s up to them to convince the judges.

The best contestants will then participate in a series of eliminatory duels to prove their how-know and skills. Each duel is a visual and entertaining baking challenge that always surprises the contestants. It take them out of their comfort zone: create a rose-flavoured cake, a cake that seems to float, a cake which looks like a donut…

Only the most talented among them will qualify for the national finale which takes place in a prestigious location. The finale is composed of a series of challenges to come down to 4 finalists. The ultimate challenge for the 4 potential winners is to create an individual and improved version of the cake they presented to the judges during the auditions.
